Sean Patrick Services LLC is committed to making seanpatrickservices.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This Accessibility Statement describes the standard we work toward, the limitations we currently know about, and how to report a problem.

Our Standard

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our internal target. This includes:

  • Keyboard navigation works on every interactive element (links, buttons, form fields)
  • A Skip to main content link is available at the top of every page for screen reader and keyboard users
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements (a green outline appears when you tab to a link or button)
  • Every image has descriptive alt text or is marked decorative
  • Color contrast meets 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text
  • Form fields have associated labels and accessible error messages
  • Page structure uses semantic HTML headings in proper order

How We Test

We test our pages with keyboard-only navigation, with the Lighthouse accessibility audit, and with macOS VoiceOver. Each new page or template change is checked against the same standard before it goes live.

Known Limitations

We are transparent about what is not perfect:

  • Some embedded third-party content (Google Maps, social media embeds) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We mitigate this with surrounding text alternatives wherever possible.
  • Heading hierarchy on a small number of legacy pages has not been formally audited and may have skipped levels (h2 jumping to h4).
  • The translation widget for Spanish content is provided by Google Translate, which has its own accessibility characteristics outside our control. We also publish hand-translated Spanish landing pages (cuidado-del-cesped.html) which are fully under our accessibility standard.

Communication Preferences

If a website interaction is not working for you, you can always reach us by phone or text at 609-783-5287. We are comfortable communicating in Spanish or by WhatsApp if that is easier. We do not require website use to get an estimate or schedule service.

Report an Issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, please tell us. We treat accessibility reports as priority bugs.

Please include the page URL, what you were trying to do, and what went wrong (the contact form button does not respond when I press Enter on a keyboard, for example). We aim to respond within 2 business days and to ship a fix within 14 days for in-scope issues.
